MsET is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to creating high-skill, high-wage jobs in Mississippi. The Enterprise taps the scientific and technical assets of the state to promote industrial growth, stimulate new business startups, and attract companies to Mississippi. The Enterprise is a joint effort of the Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development, NASA, and Mississippi's universities. MsET tenant companies maintain an office at the Stennis Space Center, located in Bay Saint Louis, MS, and receive an integrated suite of services including office space with administrative support and ongoing access to technical experts and facilities. MsET is able to access the technological and intellectual resources of NASA and its prime contractors, the U.S. Navy, the Mississippi Research Consortium and other state and federal research labs on behalf, and in support, of its clients. The four Regional Innovation Cluster awardees, ranging from $500,000 to $550,000, were selected from more than 40 applicants and represent a wide range of diverse geographic areas and industries.
