Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital invests in later-stage, private emerging growth companies in technology and other high growth sectors including healthcare, consumer and digital media. Morgan Stanley has a long and successful history growth investing. Since 1986, Expansion Capital and its predecessor, Morgan Stanley Venture Partners, have invested over $1.1 billion of growth capital in over 150 companies. The firm has offices in New York and San Francisco. Expansion Capital targets later-stage investments in technology, healthcare, consumer, digital media, and other high growth sectors. We seek companies largely beyond the development-risk phase and that have demonstrated customer and market validation. While the firm does not require profitable operations for prospective investments, capital efficiency is emphasized. Morgan Stanley targets a $5-15 million investment.
