The Nashville Capital Network (NCN) is a collaborative initiative of Vanderbilt University, the Nashville Technology Council, and Nashville Health Care Council, as well as local business and professional leaders. The NCN strives to promote entrepreneurial education and economic growth by becoming the hub for early stage capital formation in middle Tennessee. A component of NCN is a network of private investors interested in evaluating potential seed or early stage investments. The group will help entrepreneurs with business ventures that have the potential to attract institutional equity, refine their business concepts, prepare for the fundraising process, and raise equity capital. NCN connects Angel investors with entrepreneurs to help businesses raise early stage capital, grow, and prosper. NCN targets early stage and later-stage companies seeking capital for growth that are raising equity capital in the $500,000-$2 million range. NCN Angel Fund I, LP is a $5.2 million sidecar fund that invests alongside member angels in early stage companies. NCN has $75 million under management.
