Network Ventures is a Chicago-based seed stage venture capital fund. The fund focuses on Midwest-based software and internet companies that are building network effects (e.g., marketplaces, networks, platforms). The firm is led by Jeffrey Maters, and plans to raise up to $10 million for its debut fund. Maters is a former VP with Pritzker Group Venture Capital and has sat on the board of several Chicago startups, including Eved and Snapsheet. Network Ventures invests $100-250k in companies raising $500k-1.5m seed rounds.
