New MainStream Capital (NMS) is a New York and Dallas-based private investment firm specializing in strategic equity investments and leveraged buyouts of middle market companies. The Firm was formed by the Managing Partners in December 2010 through the spin-out of a group of portfolio companies from the Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division. One of NMS's largest investors is Pantheon Ventures, a leading fund of funds investment group. The two Managing Partners of the Firm were jointly responsible for the investment and management of the portfolio companies within Goldman Sachs prior to the spin-out forming NMS. NMS focuses on equity investments ranging from $10 million to $50 million. For private companies, the firm targets private companies with enterprise values less than $150 million and revenue of $25 - $150 million. The firm has made numerous investments in middle market transactions which have been of varying sizes and have included both control and minority equity positions.
