New Silk Route is a leading Asia-focused growth capital firm founded in 2006 with $1.4 billion under management, focused on the Indian subcontinent, as well as other rapidly growing economies in Asia and the Middle East. New Silk Route's portfolio of investments includes Technology, Media & Telecom; Manufacturing; Financial Services; Consumer Services; and Infrastructure investments. NSR is currently investing across rapidly growing economies in Asia and the Middle East. While the fund has a strong focus on India, approximately a third of our fund will be allocated for non-India investments -- with the target regions being other South Asian countries (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka), as well as the Middle East and East Asia. In the telecommunications sector, for example one of NSR's investments in a 200 telecom towers strong company in 2007 has grown in size and scope to a 5000 plus tower company with a standing in the industry.
