Newark Venture Partners is a venture capital firm founded by Audible founder Don Katz. The firm invests in Seed and Series A companies and will make investments of up to $1 million. Newark Venture Partners has an accelerator program, Newark Venture Partners Labs, which is backed by firm's newest fund. The lab's first class kicked off in September 2016 and will run until November 2016. Each company accepted to the accelerator will receive $80,000 for a 5% equity stake, as well as access to a 25,000 sq ft. co-working space located in the same building as Audible's global headquarters in Newark. The firm offers 1-1 mentorship and access to a network of 400+ experts.
