Founded in 1999, Nexit Ventures invests in high-tech companies that enable the new breed of mobile & wireless innovation. The focus is on mobile and wireless communication, from core components and enabling middleware to applications and services. Investments are made primarily in Nordic and U.S. companies in both early and more mature stages of their development. With home bases in Nordic countries and Silicon Valley, Nexit Ventures has a strong network of industry contacts in key Asian markets, especially Japan and South Korea. Nexit's portfolio companies are in the convergence of computing, the Internet, and wireless communications. Nexit manages two funds: Nexit Infocom 2000 (66.7 million euro under management) and Nexit Infocom II (85.0 million euro under management). The firm has additional offices in Helsinki. The firm expects to be successful with over half of their latest portfolio companies and return over 5 times the funds invested in these companies.
