Ocho Capital is a family office that makes direct investments into compelling private companies. Ocho Capital was founded in 2011 by Dris Upitis, who joined a large hedge fund in his early thirties and became a successful Wall Street-er before the age of 40. Dris is also a co-founder of Atlas Project, a not-for-profit that provides personal growth and self-awareness trainings. Each cohort of Atlas trainees that participate in the redesign level create a Community Service Project (CSP). The team designs the project, raises the funds, and determines who to partner with.
