Odyssey Investment Partners managed over $2.0 billion of capital in three private equity funds, a $760 million fund raised in 1998, a $750 million fund raised in 2005 and a $1.5 billion fund raised in 2009. Odyssey raised over $5.0 billion of private equity capital since inception. Odyssey makes majority, control investments primarily in established middle-market companies in a variety of industries. The firm focuses on several core areas: industrial manufacturing, business and insurance services, aerospace/defense products and services, route-based businesses, supply chain management, energy products and services and rental businesses. With offices in New York and Los Angeles, the firm has raised over $8.2 billion of private equity capital since inception, investing in over 50 platform companies and executing approximately 200 add-on acquisitions, and are currently investing out of a sixth fund, a $3.25 billion vehicle raised in 2020.
