Launched in 1999 by veteran venture capitalists to focus on early stage information technology companies, Palomar Ventures has assisted in building nearly 50 public companies. Palomar Ventures is currently investing Palomar III, a $225 million fund, bringing total capital under management to over $500 million. Palomar's key areas of expertise and strategic focus include: Infrastructure software, Networking telecom infrastructure, Next-generation storage, Wireless solutions, and Security initiatives. Palomar Ventures does not require a minimum investment. On occasion, Palomar Ventures also participates in seed funding. Collectively, the partners at Palomar Ventures possess nearly 100 years of experience in venture capital and have successfully assisted dozens of companies through the journey from start-up to initial public offering or to acquisition.
