Phoenix Strategy Investments is a private investment firm that acquires controlling interests, manages, and builds small-market (<$50 million) manufacturing, services and distribution companies. The firm's goal is to provide attractive exit options for owners and operators of small to medium-sized privately held enterprises, and to provide divestiture opportunities for divisions of corporate parent companies that no longer reflect the company's strategic focus. Phoenix Strategy targets controlling interests in private companies with a total enterprise value of below $20 million, or limited consolidations with comparable total transaction value. Phoenix seeks target industries that are fragmented and that have a large number of companies in the $5 to $60 million revenue range. The firm is inclined towards companies that have limited technology risk. Phoenix prefers businesses with headquarters or substantial operational presence in the south-central U.S. Phoenix Strategy's principals have executed dozens of purchase, sale or merger transactions across a wide range of industries with a total value exceeding $500 million.
