Pittco Capital Partners is a Memphis, Tennessee based private equity firm investing in early and later-stage growth companies throughout the United States, but with an emphasis on the Southeast. The firm is privately held by J.R. 'Pitt' Hyde, III, the founder and former Chairman and CEO of AutoZone, Inc. (NYSE: AZO). Hyde is also a part-owner of the Memphis Grizzlies. Pittco's investment areas include 1) managed funds where exposure to certain investment risk is outsourced to best-in-class fund managers, 2) direct investments into compelling opportunities including early & late-stage venture capital, buyout & public to private, and 3) investing in multi-family housing opportunities.
