Platform Partners, LLC is a private holding company that makes equity investments in middle market companies with the intent of growing these businesses into industry leaders. The firm partners with management teams and entrepreneurs who are committed to building businesses through a combination of organic and acquisition growth. Platform seeks to invest between $10 and $40 million of equity capital in companies with a history of operating profitability in a variety of industries. Platform focuses on the following investment opportunities: Recapitalizations of family/entrepreneur-owned companies that provide liquidity while allowing for continuing ownership; Growth capital to pursue strategic acquisitions or other growth initiatives; and Management-led buyouts of private companies. Platform's goal is to maximize long term capital appreciation by making concentrated investments and by operating with a 'buy and hold' investment strategy. Unlike a traditional private equity fund, Platform is a perpetual investment company with permanent capital.
