Pteranodon Ventures is an investment vehicle for Louis Lerman, a noted researcher in astrophysics, geophysics, and nuclear physics. While at Stanford, as a Hertz Fellow in the Applied Physical Sciences, Lerman led the development of a flotilla concept for low-earth orbiting unmanned space systems. Lerman has also directed an international research project in high-energy nuclear physics started while at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Lerman is a principal in Pteranodon Ventures and Engram Associates, and monitors investments in real estate, technology, manufacturing, and services.
