RTP Capital is an angel network that invests its own individual capital in seed and early-stage companies primarily in the North Carolina region. The group seeks investments that are technology-centric or low tech execution driven and require $3 million or less to achieve meaningful three-year revenue milestones (reasonable expectation of a 3-5 year liquidity event). RTP's typical range of investment is $100,000 to $500,000, with subsequent follow-on investments in previous investment companies considered. RTP Capital members convene each month at the First Flight Venture Center located in the Research Triangle Park.
