The firm's typical investment is in the neighborhood of $500,000, although it is very comfortable writing smaller checks for very early 'pre-seed' opportunities with founders that are especially compelling. Mike Hirshland is the Co-founder of Resolute Ventures. He has been an investor and contributor to the early stage ecosystem for 15 years. As an early stage investor, Mike was a partner with Polaris Venture Partners from 1999-2011, where he was the original seed investor behind Automattic. Raanan Bar-Cohen is a General Partner at Resolute Ventures and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before joining Resolute, Raanan was at Automattic.
