Rex Strategic Innovations (RSI) is a groundbreaking innovation platform being created by Rex Healthcare to foster and nurture innovative technologies and companies in the healthcare sector. The RSI mission is to enable access to healthcare products and services that will allow for improved patient care. RSI has developed a grant program for businesses and organizations that are challenged to find funding crucial in early stages of product or service development. Called Rex Impact Grants, the program is designed to enable companies to reach notable milestones that will enhance their prospects for equity or debt funding. Rex Health Ventures (RHV) supports the discovery and development of new treatments, tools, products and services that foster innovation and positively impacts the provision of healthcare. The fund invests in and partners with companies and entrepreneurs to help bring their products and services into the healthcare marketplace. The fund was launched with an initial $10 million investment from Rex Healthcare. Sectors of interest include: Healthcare IT, Healthcare Services, Medical Devices, and BioPharma Technologies. Initial investments range from $250,000 to $500,000; Total Per Company Investment of $500,000 to $2 million. RSI is currently developing the Rex Innovation Facilitator, a program designed to turn ideas into products and will be available to Rex Healthcare employees and innovators in the community.
