SRI Capital is an early stage venture capital firm focused on funding innovative startups primarily in the U.S. and in India, and global startups that are looking to enter the U.S. or Indian markets. SRI Capital is a U.S. registered fund which launched its operations in January 2018. The firm announced (July 2018) the launch of its maiden $100M early stage VC fund focused on tech opportunities in the U.S. and India. Anchored by a $20M commitment from the family office of Sashi Reddi, managing partner of SRI, the fund raised capital primarily from investors in the U.S. and Europe. The fund will typically invest $500K to $2M in a start-up, with the potential to invest in future rounds to support the growth of the company, up to a maximum of $5M. It expects to complete six to eight investments annually.
