Founded in 2015, Seed San Diego (SSD) invests in early stage companies with disruptive technology that need both capital and additional business insight to achieve their next mile-stone. They seek out startups with passionate founders and a bold vision who also understand their true strengths. Ultimately SSD invests when the combination of their capital and intellectual value can combine to measurably move the company forward. SSD's funding strategy is to lead Series Seed or Bridge to Series A.
