    Description:

    Sherpa Partners, LLC is a Minneapolis-based venture capital firm. Launched in January 2001, the firm's Trek I fund is dedicated to early stage, Minnesota-based information technology companies. This $17 million fund targets first-round, pre-money valuations under $10 million with initial equity investments ranging from $250,000 to $1 million. Trek I targets technology industries such as software, networking, infrastructure and telecommunications. Sherpa's Trek I fund is now fully invested and the Sherpa team is continuing to support its portfolio companies with follow-on investments and service as company Directors. The company is no longer reviewing business plans.
