The Silicon Slopes Venture Capital fund is focused on supporting start-up companies and entrepreneurs in Utah, while giving back to the tech community at large through its support of Silicon Slopes. Silicon Slopes is a non-profit organization that exists to empower Utah's tech community to learn, connect and serve with the goal of making entrepreneurship open and accessible to all. The Silicon Slopes Venture Fund was created by Qualtrics co-founder and CEO Ryan Smith, Omniture co-founder and Domo founder and CEO Josh James and Pelion Venture Partners General Partner Jeff Kearl. Pelion Venture Partners (see profile) is providing the fund's operational support. Silicon Slopes reaches a unique audience of more than 250,000 on a monthly basis through various media channels and properties.
