Founded 2009, Slow Ventures is a venture capital firm making small investments in more than 300 technology startups throughout the U.S. Co-founder, Kevin Colleran, joined Facebook in early 2005 as one of the first 10 employees and first advertising partnerships sales person. Slow began investing in startups in 2011 with a small $1.25M angel fund and was backed exclusively by five friends from Facebook. The firm has invested in industry-leading companies like Casper, Pillpack, Slack, Ro(Roman), Allbirds, Postmates, Airtable and many others. In 2019, the firm closed its fourth seed fund, Slow IV, which is $165M in size, and its first opportunity fund, Slow Opportunity I, which is $55M. These new funds secured $220M in additional investable capital, bringing Slow's total assets under management (AUM) to $450M.
