Founded in 2002, Solis Capital Partners, LLC is a disciplined buyer and builder of high quality, middle-market companies. Solis prefers companies based in the Western United States, with an emphasis on companies located in Southern California. Solis actively pursues opportunities in a broad spectrum of industries, but typically not in the retail, restaurant or apparel sectors. Solis typically pursues majority equity investments ranging from $2 - $25 Million in companies that have a domestic market size of at least $300 million. The firm views its investments as long-term, typically with a four to six year horizon. Solis portfolio companies generally meet the following criteria: Proven business model with a growing, fragmented, domestic market size of at least $200 Million; Proprietary intellectual property, processes or capabilities that create barriers to entry; Secure market position not subject to technological obsolescence; three year history of positive cash flow potential to generate high single to double digit EBITDA margins; and potential to generate compounded annual earnings growth of a least 10% over a five year period. Solis targets companies with revenues of between $5 and $100 million.
