Sterling Family Partners is a Dallas-based, multi-strategy family office. Founded in 2013 by the Bolin and Ayres families, the firm is focused on actively managing assets and deploying capital across a variety of product types and industries, including real estate, energy, banking, healthcare, consumer services, and public markets. D. Phil Bolin, Pat S. Bolin, and Warren T. Ayres broke founded a partnership in 1976 that ultimately became Eagle Oil & Gas Co. D. Phil Bolin, Pat S. Bolin, and Warren T. Ayres were early investors in Fidelity Bank Dallas. Over time, they were able to become the majority shareholders. In 1997, the bank was sold to Compass Bank.
