TSB was formed in April 2007 as a response to a lack of available venture capital in the state of Louisiana. The firm is a a private equity investment company that invests financial and intellectual capital in early to mid stage companies where it can make a positive difference in the growth of those companies. TSB also prefers to be active participants, along with management, in the companies in which it invests. The firm uses a balanced investment approach that is diversified by industry, transaction type, and stage of development. TSB's mix of investments consists of both debt financing and traditional equity investments.
