TWG Global is the investment vehicle for Mark Walter. Mark Walter co-founded and is the CEO of Guggenheim Capital, LLC, a diversified financial services firm with more than $340 billion in assets under management. According to Forbes, Walter is worth $6 billion. TWG owns and controls businesses in the following segments: financial services; renewables; sports, media and entertainment; art; eco-tourism and agriculture. Walter is the part-owner and chairman of the Major League Baseball franchise Los Angeles Dodgers and co-owner of Premier League club Chelsea F.C. He also owns the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). According to Forbes, Walter has personal stakes in Beyond Meat and Carvana. In 2021, it was reported that Walter had purchased numerous commercial and historic buildings in Crested Butte, Colorado for an unknown purpose. Walter serves on the board of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, as a director of The Field Museum, as a trustee of Northwestern University and as a trustee of Creighton University. The Walters also own White Oak Conservation, a 17,000-acre animal refuge in Florida, and wildlife preserves in Africa, where they are funding global efforts to protect endangered species from poachers and habitat loss.
