Tampa Bay Innovation Center (TBIC) supports entrepreneurial success, fosters the creation of high-tech jobs and develops new sources of technology and manufacturing capabilities by nurturing early stage ventures as they grow and launch their products into the marketplace. Through its TEC Garage, the Innovation Center offers programs that are tailored to the innovator/entrepreneur and address business intelligence, planning and business formation, strategy execution and technology transition. TBIC will partner with Pinellas County and the City of St. Petersburg to conceive and operate a major new business incubator. Companies interested in becoming an Incubator client must meet the following criteria: a researched, viable technology and located in the Tampa Bay region. TBIC is managed by STAR-TEC Enterprises, Inc., a not-for-profit Florida corporation whose goal is to foster jobs and promote economic development through assistance and support programs. The firm has been Leading the Innovation and Entrepreneurial Community for 17+ years.
