The Entrepreneurs Center was established as a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation in 1998 with the first tenants moving in on September 1, 2000. TEC seeks to graduate successful tenants who will continue to contribute to the economic health of the region through the creation of jobs. TEC accepts tenants with business concepts in the IT, Engineering Science and Technology, Prototype Manufacturing and Manufacturing related technologies, Bio-Med Technology, and Automotive Technology. The Center provides a technology infrastructure that will foster the development of innovative, leading edge, market oriented, technology based products and services. Examples of services available include but are not limited to: Dual T1 Data Bandwidth; built-in enterprise firewall, and a Vodavi XTS Communication System that includes voice mail, conference calling, call forward, caller ID and wireless capability. TEC also offers, guidance mentors, free and reduced outside services, access to debt and equity financing, business technical assistance, quarterly review of financials, and centralized office and administrative services. The ECā€™s Entrepreneurial Services Provider (ESP) program acts as an accelerator and business incubator for Miami Valley startups and early-stage technology companies back with $6 million in grants and non-dilutive capital for qualifying start-ups.
