The Gainesville Technology Entrepreneurship Center (GTEC) is a community program providing early stage startup companies with tools, training and infrastructure to help them get started, grow and develop into financially viable enterprises. An economic development program of the City of Gainesville, the facility was funded in partnership between the City of Gainesville, the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners, and the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration. The facility is a 30,000 square foot, energy efficient technology incubation center offering flexible office, lab and assembly areas to serve the needs of a broad range of technology-related companies. Companies may also benefit from the Center's education, networking and mentoring programs.
