Founded in 1987, the Gores Group is a private equity firm focused on acquiring controlling interests in mature and growing businesses. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the firm currently has approximately $2.5 billion in assets under management (as of March 31, 2016) and is presently investing from Gores Capital Partners III, L.P. and Gores Small Capitalization Partners, L.P., which have approximately $2.1 billion and $300 million in capital commitments, respectively.
