TiE Tampa Angels is an angel investment group that includes TiE Tampa Bay charter members as well as seasoned investors from Florida and other TiE Chapters globally. The group has a focus on investing in early stage, promising and growth companies in healthcare and technology sectors. TiE Tampa Angels seeks to provide Florida entrepreneurs and startups with seed capital, mentoring and support. TiE Tampa Angels is not a venture fund or an investment advisor, but rather a forum where investors are connected to startup companies who are looking to raise capital to take their companies to the next level. The group will make their own investment decisions though often align investments with other leading angel investor groups and venture capital firms. Investments can range to up to $250,000 in each transaction, but the group may syndicate up to $2 million with other angel groups. The group has 15,000 members.
