The firm seeks opportunities in business niches to find companies that have distinguished themselves through execution and innovation. Tidewater primarily makes control investments, including Full Buyout, Controlling Interest, Majority Recapitalization, and Growth Equity. Preferred areas of interest are Light Manufacturing, Distribution and Logistics, Healthcare, Tech-Enabled Services, Food & Beverage Production, and Financial Services. Tidewater invests in companies with $10 million to 30 million in revenue, $2 million to 5 million in EBITDA, and that are based in North Carolina and the Southeast.
