Founded 2010, Tola Capital is a venture capital firm that focuses on the once-in-a-generation opportunity to invest in the next wave of enterprise software companies enabled by new data and cloud platforms. This transition in the enterprise software industry is being driven by cloud computing, advancements in the ability to collect and use data, and mobile computing. Tola looks for software companies with essential products for enterprise customers, a solid existing customer base, a strong competitive position, and great talent and culture. Tola Capital invests predominantly in growth stage and some early stage enterprise software companies. The firm has invested in over 20 portfolio companies. The firm announced (November 2023) the close of Tola Capital III, LP at $230 million. With its third fund, Tola Capital is aiming to invest in 25 to 30 companies globally. The average check size will range from $1 million to $4 million for Seed stage companies and $5 million to $15 million for Series A and B.
