Trinity Private Equity Group (TPEG) is a middle market sponsor of private equity transactions in which the firm partners with existing management in high quality companies. The principals at TPEG are experienced entrepreneurs with a history of successfully growing small to mid-size private companies in a variety of industries. Trinity prefers to make control equity investments on a leveraged basis in companies with a consistent history of profitability and growth. In non-control or minority situations, TPEG prefers investments in the form of subordinated or other structured debt. Trinity targets companies with annual revenues greater than $10 million; EBITDA of greater than $2 million; and Enterprise values greater than $5 million. Trinity's focus industries include: Consumer products, Light manufacturing, Distribution, Consumer and commercial services, Specialty retailing, and Strongly branded or patented products. TPEG's investments range from $1-$5 million in structured debt placements, or $2 million - $5 million in equity placements (in the form of control investments).
