Twin Cities Angels 'TCA or TCAngels' provides a formal organization for entrepreneurially-minded angel-investors. The group focuses where its members have expertise: medical technology (devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, biotech, veterinary medicine); and Information Technology. The TCAngels was established in 2006 and provides seed and early-stage capital in the range of $50,000 to $2 million. The TCA Fund I, LLC is a contributed capital and 'side-by-side' angel fund with members and partners from throughout Minnesota. TCA seeks deal flow in the greater Twin Cities area of Minneapolis/St. Paul, the state of Minnesota and nearby states such as Wisconsin, Northern Iowa, and the Eastern Dakotas. Generally, the firm will not consider companies based further than 300 miles from the Twin Cities.
