Since its founding in Oct. 1999, the UCF Business Incubation Program (UCFBIP) has helped hundreds of emerging companies create a total regional output of more than $620 million and sustain over than 3,300 jobs with an average salary of $67,000. With nine opened current locations across 5 counties in Central Florida, the Business Incubation Program is a collaboration in economic development between UCF, Orange County, the City of Orlando, Seminole County, the City of Winter Springs, Lake County, the City of Leesburg, the City of Sanford, Osceola County, the city of St. Cloud, the city of Kissimmee and the Florida High Tech Corridor Council. With 9 locations including the Central Florida Research Park, adjacent to the UCF campus in East Orlando, Orlando close to the Executive Airport, on the UCF Campus, Winter Springs, Leesburg and Sanford, St. Cloud and Kissimmee, and the Daytona Beach International Airport, the Business Incubation Program now consists of over 126,510 square feet of opened office/lab space. Since 1999, this award-winning program has supported hundreds of companies, who have collectively generated more than $400 million in sales and over $100 million in outside funding.
