From its inception until 2012, it acted primarily as the private equity arm of Jesta Group, a diversified family office, overseeing various investments through all stages of their lifecycle. In 2012, Vandewater began offering institutions and funds an opportunity to invest alongside its financial and operational capital, on an individual transaction basis.
