Winona Capital Management provides acquisition and growth capital to outstanding companies in the lower middle market. The firm manages over $125 million and seeks direct investments in consumer-driven companies characterized by innovative high-margin products or services with strong growth prospects in revenues and earnings. Winona has particular interest and experience in businesses focused on: niche consumer goods and services; sports, recreation and leisure; specialty manufacturing and distribution; growth-oriented, multi-unit specialty food and retail; and education services. The firm's focus is on companies with revenues of $10-100 million and EBITDA above $1 million. Winona seeks to commit $10-$30 million in equity capital per opportunity, whether that investment can be made at the outset or committed over a 5 year period.
