    Description:

    Founded in 1997, Crystal Ventures has grown into a family of funds with international offices in North America and Asia that facilitate the pervasive growth and development of worldwide innovation. Crystal partners with companies that support trans-Pacific synergetic operations with proven technology and products, market potential, exemplary management teams, and unique resources particular to Silicon Valley, Taiwan, Singapore, and mainland China. Crystal will lead, co-lead or take a membership role in an investing syndicate. Most of the firm's deals range from $1.0 to $5.0 million, and Crystal takes a board seat on all portfolio investments. Crystal has invested in more than 35 technology companies that make up three layers of information technology: underlying technologies, including infrastructure and communications technology; enabling technologies, including software and hardware; and vertical content and applications. Following is a sampling of our investments from four industry segments: wireless, broadband, enterprise software, and vertical content and applications. As of December 31, 2012 all member funds and the associated General Partnership of Crystal Venture Funds have completed all partnership activities and have concluded operations.
