    Description:

Draper Fisher Jurvetson Gotham (DFJ Gotham) is a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology companies in the Northeast U.S. and Israel. DFJ Gotham's first investment was made in 2000, and since then the firm has backed over 20 ventures, spanning a wide array of technology related sectors. DFJ Gotham is a generalist information technology (IT) investor, meaning that the firm will invest in all sub-sectors of the IT space. These sub-sectors include, but are not limited to: digital media, e-commerce, financial technology, mobile and network infrastructure. DFJ Gotham typically invests $100K-$500K in seed investments or $1M-$3M in series A investments in companies that have a demonstrable product. DFJ Gotham will invest up to $6-8 million over the lifetime of companies that receive a Series A investment. DFJ Gotham primarily invests in companies that are or will be headquartered on the East Coast of the United States. The firm also invests in companies founded in Israel, particularly when they are moving some or all their operations to the U.S. DFJ Gotham is part of the Draper Fisher Jurvetson Global Network, which has $6 billion in assets under management.
