GoodCompany Ventures catalyzes start-ups with innovative solutions to big, unmet social needs. Since 2008, GoodCompany accelerator has provided support, facilities, and mentoring to qualified, socially conscious entrepreneurs. Unlike conventional venture incubators, GoodCompany Ventures doesn't extract an equity commitment from entrepreneurs, but expects a commitment of time and creativity toward building a community of social entrepreneurship. The firm is interested in for-profit companies with a commitment to educational reform and impact, green technology, healthcare reform and impact, community creation, and job creation for difficult to employ populations. GoodCompany Ventures will facilitate a first investment round by assembling representatives from leading VC firms and angel investors.
