    Description:

    KTB Ventures is the U.S. operation of KTBnetwork, the largest private equity firm headquartered in Korea. Founded in 1981, KTB Ventures has invested in over 400 companies worldwide including over 30 companies in the U.S. (since 1994). The firm invests through all stages of a private company's growth and considers venture capital investments from product development through late-stage sales and manufacturing capital infusions. The firm's typical minimum for a venture capital investment is $1 million in a fundraising round of at least $5 million. KTB's private equity investments are focused on Korean situations, including corporate restructuring, leveraged buyouts and government privatizations. KTB focuses on companies in the following sectors: Communication & Semiconductor, Digital Media, Consumer Electronics, and Consumer and Business Services. The firm maintains additional offices in Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Singapore and makes investments globally.
