Treadstone Partners, LLC is a Dallas-based private investment firm. Founded in 1993, the firm makes investments in lower-to-middle market operating companies that are typically overleveraged, under-managed, or confronting some other event-driven development. Investments are made across the capital structure and range from discounted bank debt to controlling equity interests. Treadstone invests in assets throughout the United States. Investments include distressed debt portfolios, corporate restructurings, recapitalization of undervalued companies and the rehabilitation of real estate assets. A key investment focus is the acquisition of controlling interests in financially-challenged operating companies. Primary interest is directed towards lower-to-middle market companies, with revenues between $10 million and $150 million, where investments can be made at significant discounts to intrinsic value. Treadstone seeks to invest between $2 million and $20 million in each acquisition. Acquisitions have been made in more than 35 states plus the U.S. Virgin Islands.
