Founded in 2012, Vopne Capital invests in manufacturing, healthcare, defense, industrial and business services companies with a revenue of $10-$60 million and an EBITDA of $2-8 million. Vopne targets equity investments of $15-$30 million initially and can commit up to $20 million of equity capital per investment. The firm will not invest in start-ups, real estate, retail, restaurants nor oil & gas. Vopne works with business owners looking to sell, recapitalize or transition ownership in their company. In 2013, Vopne announced the launch of the $20 million Vopne Capital Fund I.  Vopne Capital is run by Managing Partner Jim Bloom. Prior to founding Vopne, Jim was a Principal at Tinicum Capital Partners, a $1.5 billion private investment fund based in New York and San Francisco.
