The Westly Group invests in leading and up-and-coming clean tech companies in an effort to accelerate the clean technology revolution. The firm focuses primarily on companies with proven revenue streams but is open to investments in all stages of growth. The firm's founder, Steve Westly, previously served as the Controller and Chief Fiscal Officer of the state of California. The Westly Group is one of the larger cleantech venture firms in the U.S., currently investing a $127 million fund. The firm has begun raising its next fund ($175 million target size), which will focus primarily on cleantech opportunities in the United States, with a cap of 20% internationally.
